My lyrics thread is not getting responses, why?

Is there any reason why my lyrics thread is unpopular?

Are people annoyed at the thread for any reason?

This is a heart passion, so I need to know if I shouldn't be posting songs that I write.

Peace

  • I just checked it out. Have you recorded it yet? If so, try posting the full song. Lyrics are really only a part of a song so it's difficult to know what you're going for. Think of it this way: if you said I'm going to paint a picture of ______. Do you think it'll be nice? Well, we each have our own ideas about how your idea might be expressed. Idk. That's the best analogy I have. Good luck.

  • Hello bluDog,

Understood. However, I'm leaving the composing, vocals, production to an hiphop genre indie label. I will be composing a rough.draft for them to polish up with an urban vibe, even though.a synth pop dance. I just wanted feedback on the lyrics (for now). I don't want to release incomplete work.

    Thanks for your response
