Croup

Every time my daughter gets a runny nose or any part of a cold she immediately gets croup! I don't know why. She has never just had a cold before its always croup! She's 2 and a half. We don't smoke at all, we have air purifiers and humidifiers. Idk what else I can do, anyone have any ideas??

I was just reading that 75% of cases are due to a virus some as serious as RSV ( two of my grandkids were hospitalized for that). I'd ask my ped. dr if she needed to see a specialist.

I would sit down with her pediatrician and ask him/her all those questions. Maybe she needs to see a specialist.
