Is anyone else trying for there third child?

Hello all, My name is Tracy. My husband and I have two amazing children, our oldest is ten years old, Colyan and our youngest is five, Mya. We recently decided to try for a third child. I am excited at the idea of becomming a mommy again, but at the same time so scared. I have been off my birth control pill for about 2 and a half to three weeks now, and don't really know how long it will take to conceive a child.
I am really excited to be able to talk and share this same experience with others. If anyone has any helpful tips, please let me know. Thank you.

Our third child is 2 weeks old today:) we also have a 2 and a 4 year old. My third pregnancy was the most tiring but I am so glad to have our son!!
It took us 3 months of trying before we were pregnant- good luck to both of you as you ttc #3:)

We're on month 7 of TTC #3.......or month 4, depending on when you start counting. LOL

My last Depo shot was July 9. About a month before I had to go in for the next one we decided we wanted #3, so I cancelled it. Some say start counting from July, others say start counting from Sept. I'm counting from July. :)

All ladies who have husbands or SOs willing to go for #3 are very lucky. Every friend/relative who has a third (which there are four) is said to be "unintentional" with husband frowning (or a new man).

Anon- I do feel very lucky about number three. It did take convincing on my part. I wasn't manipulative or hurtful when trying to convince dh to try for a third. The biggest reasons I have were 1) in 20 years I'd truly regret never having a third child and 2) I deeply felt that I had another persons soul in me waiting to be born- it sounds crazy, but I really felt like my son was asking to be born.

My husband kinda made fun of me about the soul thing, but since I never run around talking about souls and spirits and stuff like that I think he realized I was serious and truly wanted to have the baby. It still took him a few months to agree to ttc though:)

For four years hubby and I swore up one side and down the other that we were DONE! having kids. At the time we were also living in a death trap of a house. Black mold everywhere, no insulation, single pane windows, cracks in the front door big enough we could see sunlight streaming through, etc. A year and a half ago we moved out of there.

Probably about the time I got my last Depo shot he and I got to thinking, on our own, that maybe we did want another child. Neither one of us said anything to the other though, until I suggested it as my next shot was coming up. I still think we're both crazy for wanting a third, but we both agree our family just isn't quite right yet.

My son is 3.5 years older than my daughter, and she'll be 5 next month. I'll let you know the age gap between her and #3 as soon as that darn e.p.t. gives me a positive. :)
