  • Could be that he just got too cold. Little children's lips often turn blue after a bath even!

  • If your child isn't having difficulty breathing then you child probably has something else going on. We went through this just over 2 years ago. I called the ped and the nurse insisted that my child was having difficulty breathing and that she needed to go to the ER right away. She wasn't having problems breathing. I know b/c we are both asthmatic and wheeze frequently. She wasn't cold b/c it was October in Fl. We went they did nothing. I followed up with our ped on Monday and she had labs drawn. My DD was vit D deficient and had liver enzymes that were severely elevated b/c her body wasn't digesting food b/c she was constantly puking. She had severe reflux that wasn't under control. We just thought this was normal for her. We got her onto new meds and she started being able to process things in her tummy and in 2 mos all was normal again.

  • It can be cold or due to a lack of oxygen. Obviously if it is a lack of oxygen, you want to get that looked at!
