The thing is he is going to be a car sales man so his hours are not gaurentted..So he could get off at 9 pm but not really be able to leave work til 11 or 1030 or who knows.. My son is 4 and normal goes to be around 8;30. I would never know what time to pack my son up put him in the car with his pjs'. School is starting soon and I want my son to have some kind of familiar bedtime.. How would you handle this? Maybe only carpool 2 days a week? Not having a car to use for last 3 yrs has been hard.. And im excited his works is going to be close enough to carpool. I dunno:(((

PERFECT SOLUTION....
drive your husband to work so you have the car all day. Then have him take his "lunch" at a time that works for your son (right after dinner, 7pm, 8pm)... drive to his work (bring him something to eat), and have him drive you home.
YOu had the car all day when you needed it. He gets it to drive home. Little one gets to go to bed on time.
This may not work every day.... but on the days you want the care, it is a win, win, win.
