Is it really that hard?

For people to type/spell properly? What I mean is, I don't know about you, but reading a post that is " Y dont U teach ur kid 2" etc. Spelling with one letter, and numbers, that sort of thing. Annoying!! It takes longer to spell like that than it is to spell properly!! LOL
I dont mean perfect grammar, but common spelling is not too much to ask lol.

  • Okay, that's kinda embarrasing about the "realy"... might want to fix that. But typos aside, I get what you are saying.

  • I try to hit the spell check when I post my responses. However, I often dont bother to capitalize my i's or use the apostrophe when Im typing words like Im/dont/etc.

so I guess Im half wrong...oops there, didnt capitalize at the beginning of a sentence either.

Some times I will purposely mis-spell a word to make it sound as If I was speaking.  Mark Twain comes to mind when i do it.

  • Not talking about spelling, I'm talking about when people use one letter or number to spell something, that i don't count as spelling. Like the example given.

  • OH.... btw... (I do use that text abbreviation) I do find it interesting when the grammar is SO bad that it is hard to read.  I often wonder if the person is deaf or if english is their second language.
