What's the point?
There are some people who regularly start new accounts and change user names because they've irritated so many people on their previous name. But, each time they do it, they continue to use the same speech patterns, make the same notorious typos, and post the same complaints and personal stories. Why change names when everyone will know who it is within a few weeks again anyway?
Is it just for the thrill of seeing how long they can get away with it before anyone figures out who it is? Is it that they keep promising to themselves that each new account they'll do things differently, but fall back into their old habits in spite of themselves?

ANd we have a winner...
fiat, this particular individual does occasionally pop into RD, but isn't a regular. Most of her trolling is in P&CE. That said, she's also not the only one who does it, just the most well known. There are a few in RD who have multiple accts and try to pretend they don't by accusing others of doing it instead.

yeah - P&CE is a close 2nd to a section i stear away from
i made a 2nd account a few months back
in am , i could not get on here, and thought something wrong with my account- like i was deleted for postin funny pics= i know funny pic posts are really a bad thing and must be stopped
anyway, i made a new account, got on here - only to find the site was having issues, so i delted account and that was that
i do not understand the more than one account thing... but others do not get why anyone would find humor posts fun

I think they honestly think they can get away with it. Some people have large egos. Then again, I was accused of doing this already. I was away for a bit then I came back. Apparently someone disappeared soon after I returned and hence-I must have been that person!! Oh, well!!Found an answer to your question?

I have no idea. Apparently, they like fresh new starts for pissing people off? I think there is at least one mom and probably many who just like to make people mad. It must float their boat to be so obvious about it.Found an answer to your question?
