I'm back. 30% physically, but the sarcasm is at 100%.

Hey ladies. So, I've had quite the past couple weeks.
Some of you may know that I was rushed to the ER two Saturdays ago, and had surgery to remove gall stones. Was home Monday. Well, that same night I was rushed to the ER as I was sitting on on the couch (chatting on CM of all places), I lost consciousness.

At the hospital, I was diagnosed with severe swelling of the brain and viral encephalitis and was placed in the ICU for 4 days while they tried to rid my body of the infection. After the infection was gone, the damage done to the brain triggered what is termed "cataclysmic migraines" that hit without warning and are accompanied by confusion, inability to speak, hallucinations, and the worse type of pain a human being can ever feel in their temples and abdomen ( had roughly 5-7 a day for 5 days. I can honestly say that I have never felt that type of pain before. So, after 5 days of injection therapy to treat the migraines, 4mg of dilaudid every 3 hours to numb the pain, and some relief, I was sent home.

I am currently extremely weak, and am having severe withdrawal symptoms from the pain meds. I am so fortunate that I had a mother who stayed with in the hospital all day and an amazing husband who has taken care of my babies. I did not get to see them for 11 days and it was torture. I'm expected to be down for the count for at least another1-2 weeks, but it is a great sign that I'm back on CM, even if for an hour. I've missed you all.
