my one month old just got her second hep b shot yesterday and she is not wanting to eat as much today, could it be the shot?

She normally eats around 3-4 oz but she is only eating 1.5-2.5oz

  • Yes - that's normal. She might want to sleep a lot too. That's also normal.

  • Not that you needed one more person to say so...but, yep, it's normal. Should snap out of it after about 24 hours.

  • wait, so your all saying its normal for a baby not to eat? regardless of the shot. think about it... its NOT NORMAL for your child NOT to eat. i guarantee you it has to do with his shot.. also, if he is running a fever.. the best thing to give him is motrin if any medicine at all. tylenol is more harsh. and to add, a fever is not normal either.
