Mrsmom110....this one is for you!!!

Use those powers mama!!! LOL

So, for the question part...hmmmm....now I'm stumped! Well, shoot!

Okay!!! GOT ONE!!!

Do you know anyone who doesn't shower or wash their clothes as much as they should? I have a "friend" who very obviously does not shower but MAYBE once a week, and will wear her clothes AT LEAST 4 or 5 times before washing them. It MAKES ME SICK!!! She's PREGNANT and even when she's going to the doctor, who you know gets all up and personal, STILL doesn't shower before going!!!! How does someone actually think thats okay? I seriously want to vomit when I think about her. And, does she plan on washing her baby more than once a week when he's born? And yet, somehow, she's always got some new fling going with some new guy. So not only is she nasty, but she finds a bunch of nasty boys to want her...at least for a few weeks at a time.

Anyone know someone like this? Do you say something to them, or just ignore it and mind your own business?

  • I don't anyone exactly like that. I have noticed however that on my drill weekends most of the people I work with smell (mostly the men). I know we have to be at work kind of early, but a shower only takes 10 extra minutes and I believe it is time well spent (since we usually end up sweating in those uniforms). Even the usually well groomed guys come in smelling like day old B.O. When I was pregnant I couldn't even stand next to some of them because it made me sick.

  • I grew up like that, not that we were sloppy people, but being defecting from Europe eventually after wondering around scared and without hot water because of our mideastern (Jewish) bloodline. I am a natural born citizen, but my family has hung onto a few bad habits. Sad that I was "outed" and was severely embarrassed in high school and as a young adult. I wish people could be more helpful instead of destructive. I shower or bathe at least once a day, but my mom still struggles with bathing (and my gramma always stank ., just never thought about or judged it).

Actually, I used to get grossed out because my FIL used to only shower like twice a week and would wear the same clothes a few days in a row when he'd come visit. He'd start stinking & I remind him that he can use our washer & dryer at anytime. Then I'd get my ex husband tell him needs to take a shower.

  • I was born in Texas. I was taught about bathing and smelling fresh through social rehabilitation. My mom and gramma did live alone for majority of their lives. I'm American minded with a sense of ambition, so showering is an essential part of my daily regime.
