  • My daughter had allergies to dust mites, grass and cats. She had to get her tonsils and adenoids removed. In the winter, she kept a scarf around her nose and mouth to not take in too much cold air in.

  • Another thing, if your daughter has to go in for surgery, be honest to her to what's going on and that the surgery won't hurt because she will be asleep. Gramma lied to my daughter, and I heard that my daughter panicked and tried to (or did) bite the doctor.

  • My daughter is almost twenty. I remember that she had to be calm when I took her home for about two-three weeks so that blood pressure shoot through the closing (stitches), much how like when you had your wisdom teeth taken out (but a little longer).

  • Surgery didn't last very long, was pretty quick. If I can remember, twenty minutes is what I was told.

  • I was like that so was my son,my mom didn't take care of the problem I had when I was little, instead she made fun of me and told me to shut my mouth . I was extremely miserable when I was a kid because of this problem. I still have that problem cause of lack of insurance. If I could get myself insurance I'd get fixed in a heart beat! However my 16 yr old had his tonsils and adnoids taken out, they were obstructing his airway big time and he would stop breathing while he was sleeping.

  • Any plants around your home that makes her nose stuffy might take care of the problem.
