This is now on Netflix streaming and I watched it today. It. Was. INFURIATING! They can SEE what works and what doesnt and they just arent! But I have today what makes me the most crazy is the teachers unions! The teachers that reinstated with a YEAR back pay after being fired for being caught ON VIDIO putting kids heads in toilets and reading magazines during class! Teachers in a "rubber room" in NY school system waiting to be tried for cases as rough as child molestation getting full benefits AND salary while it takes them THREE TIME LONGER then criminals to make it through the system! What can be done? Because I am truly believing its going to take a grass roots effort to DO something! I mean good grief we all banded together and got them to save the Internet can we save our kids? :(

I've heard great things about the film, but never seen it myself. I believe John Stossel also had a documentary called Stupid In America that pointed out the pro's of charter schools and the negatives of Teacher's unions as they presently operate. Very eye opening and disappointing at the same time, considering our children are the ones to pay the highest price for this failure.
