Latest duh moment?

Spent the last 20 minutes looking through my desk for the card that has the number for the school attendance line so I can call DS in for tomorrow. Finally find it, get the first 4 numbers in, and my phone's little brain auto-suggests "attendance hotline". Apparently I programmed it in the last time I had to spend a half hour trying to find the number...

I had to take my ds's glasses to school and I couldn't remember his teachers name and I just blurted out mrs. Slutty. Then I was like doh it's smutty lol. Thank god the secretary knows me she was cracking up

I did something very similar today!
I wanted to surprise DH with his favorite dinner from a local resturant. I looked everywhere for their phone #, finally found it and when I entered it in my phone, it showed I had already put it in there! DUH!!!

i spent ten minutes looking for my phone not realizing why my brother was dying laughing...well he was on the other end of the phone to myear hahaha.....im used to being on my house phone while playin on cafemom on my cell lol

On Friday I picked my son up from daycare and told his sitter "see you tomorrow" as we walked out the door and she laughed and said "no you won't!" and I spent the entire drive home thinking "crap, she's closed tomorrow and I forgot, what am I gonna do?". Then I got home and realized it was Friday. Duh.

Getting angry bexcause I couldn't find a word in my dictionary. After cursing the publishing house for not including important and fairly ocmmon words, I closed it and laid it down. That's when I sa that I had been looking in a French dictionary ... Slap forehead.
