  • I'm a corner lot. The driveway is on the side of the house and longer than most peoples property (110'). We have lots of trees and shade. I don't do many flowers because the deer eat them. We have bamboo growing in one corner. Right now with it being winter, not much is going on.

  • We dont have much of a backyard. We rent our home and it is on several acres. On about 3 acres the landlord has a tree farm, so in back of the house he stores the extra trees, and farming equipment. We only have a small area back there and it includes an enclosed porch we dont really use for anything but storage (lawnmower, shovels etc)

We have about 3/4 acres front yard, and 1/2 acre on either side of the house that is ours. On one side we have a 10 x 10 dog pen and a couple of dog houses. That is where our dogs live. In the front yard I have a trampoline kinda off to the side and several trees in front, along with rose bushes and things of that sort. On the side of the yard we have our above ground pool and deck.

  • Hahahahaaaa...beautiful is not a word I'd use for this back yard! We are renting a house and the back yard is small- and nothing but rock with a slab of concrete that isn't big enough for a table or anything but the bbq! No tree, no flowers, no bushes...just rock

  • definitely not beautiful. we have a huge dog pen, a huge garden, and plenty of yard, a good portion of which is shaded by a massive tree on the property line. there is also a clothesline that we do not use but our neighbor does on occasion. our back yard is functional.

  • Sadly, we are moving and I hate to leave the yard more than I do the house. It's like a park. There are so many amazing flowers. Tons of rose bushes, herbs, fruit trees, raspberries. There's a playhouse for the kids, a trampoline and a pool. The landscaping is so pretty and there's a beautiful covered bench just under a flowering plum tree (the pink trees that are so pretty) where I like to sit and read in the summer. Our new house has an acre in the backyard and it's nice but nothing like this one.

  • The previous owners did a great job renovating the backyard but didn't take into consideration that one day the plants and trees they planted would become too big for the space even with regular maintenance. But it's still a nice space, except in southern CA you can't keep grass green for ish so it's a little on the brown side.
