  • yes i had an emergancy csection with my first, it was he worst experiance of my life,.i was 8cm dilalated and then me and baby both got tempatures and my epidural had stoped working so they had to take it out and put it back in just before i went to have the section, then when i got to the operating room i could still move my legs and body, the docs cudn understand why but carried on with the section, i was so drugged up at this point the room was spinning like when u get extremely drunk and once they started cutting i could feel it slightly and was screaming at them to hurry the f up. i was in so much pain once the baby popped out they knocked me out, i never seen him until the next day and it took a long time to recover from it, but then when my darling son was 6months old i got pregnant again, due in 2weeks times now, the preganacy is fine and i am allowed to vbac

  • She probably means your Uterusrupturing.  He can happen if you do not wait to get pregnant. Your uterus is not healed completely. She probably meant vbirth(vaginal birth)

  • Yes, that happened to me. I got pregnant 4 months after having my first c-section (2nd baby) and none of the doctors my insurance covered would allow me to vbac (vaginal birth after c-section) because of the chance of my uterus rupturing during delivery. the pregnancy was fine though, and the 2nd c-section was actually so much easier than the first, because it was scheduled, and the numbing meds actually worked that time. the recovery was much easier as well, taking only 1 week as opposed to the 4 it took me to feel better after the first one.

  • VBAC is a vaginal birth after a cesarean. Lots of women do it, it's safer than a repeat cesarean so obviously worth investigating!

I know of a lot of ladies who get pregnant shortly (relatively) after a cesarean, sure, happens a lot.

Do you think you may be pregnant?

  • i had an emergency c. three years later i planned my second child - chose to repeat c section - because its logical to me - if an area is stretched (where they cut you on your uterus and tummy) then that is the weak link and it just seemed smart.. my ob had two patients land in intensive care when trying to vbac (the danger is rupturing - tearing your uterus - could need a total removal of uterus to fix you) - and they both almost died, so he was happy to repeat c section/ i could also feel the first one (c section) - i could feel them cutting and pulling - was TERRIBLE - told the doc and wiht my second they did a spinal tap for numbing - much better - felt like i was standing in the ocean - like movement but nothing bad.
