  • Anything is possible. It's not likely, but it's possible. Much depends on your cycle being reestablished and how long you were on the depo.

  • It's your cycle trying to readjust to the changes. I would anticipate it taking at least 3 months before that happens. However, I'm not your medical provider. If you can, you should make an appointment to speak to your doctor and ask what you should/could expect over the next few months.

  • the depo shot should stay in your system for an average of 10 months,, when is your next shot due? I thought you recently had a baby, but maybe I have you confused with someone else,, I think you had "break through" bleeding, or if you engaged in rough sex of some kind, that could be the cause as well, I went back and looked at a few or your prior questions.

  • I agree with Brawnwyn that anything is possible but not that likely. I was on Depo for about 18mo after my 1st and it took a full 18months longer to get pregnant again, we weren't ACTIVELY trying but weren't preventing it either, kwim? i've heard Depo can take a long time to get out of your system altogether. good luck though :)

  • yes it is possible - i got pregnant before getting my period back after being on it. i had no breakthrough bleeding or anything though, so i have no idea what you are going through. you could try testing in the next couple of days, and then again every week for the next few weeks, just to see.

  • I wasn't being negative, but you should take a test and see, it is about the odds of you being pregnant or not, anything is possible, but the only way to know is to test,,sorry if you were offended, I was honestly trying to help you the best way I could.

  • No one has been negative. You asked if you could immediately get pregnant after being on depo and we said it's possible, but not likely. Your emotions on the matter don't really have any bearing on the reality of the situation.

Have you been pregnant before? If so, you know you'll likely be able to get pregnant again. However, depo is one of the harder BC options to get off of and then get pregnant.
