Tuna sandwiches

I went without eating tuna for a very long time... I didn't like it as a kid, so I didn't eat it. But I've been reintroduced to it and am now craving a tuna sandwich for lunch!

It's been AGES since I've made a tuna sandwich, so I need to know... how much mayo should I mix in with it??

  • We almost had that for lunch yesterday but the kids just wanted soup, i think i'll have one for lunch today cause it does sound yummy! I usually just add enough so that it doesn't look/taste 'dry' anymore, kwim? (tuna in water with the water drained) We also sometimes add pickles cut up really small to the mix for that extra crunch :)

  • You don't want it swimming in mayo, so add it slowly until it is just right. I add celery and sometime a little diced shallots and a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar with the mayo. It cuts down on the amount of mayo you need. I love tuna sandwich with cream of tomato soup.
