  • It is not a matter of age but of qualifying to be a foster parent. i.e. your home, the conditions the foster child would live in, your prior arrests or convictions, stability of your own life. sometimes alot of questions to determine your mental capicity. Look up "become a foster parent" in a search. You'll find the info you need. God bless anyone who can foster someone else's kid's. Alot of foster kids have a whole lot of issues.

  • I think you have to be 18 to be a foster parent. I saw an ad that said in order to be one, it depends on your living conditions and you have to have seperate space for you and the child. YOu can't share a bedroom.

  • I think as long as you're an adult it doesn't matter

  • Some places require you to be 21 yrs of age. Look online for your local foster care facility and the requirements should be there also if you can't find info online there is usually a phone number to contact to get more info. Each state is different as far as qualifications so make sure you go by your states guidelines.
