Tilapia for dinner tonight

Just got a bunch of tilapia and I'm not sure what to do with it. What goes with it? How should I cook it? I prefer not to fry to messy ya know not to mention unhealthy.
Thanks♄

  • salt & pepper both sides, squeeze lemon over top & a dab of butter on each one cover with foil in a pan & bake for around 18 mins depending how thick they are......serve with rice & tomato salad is what I usually do.

  • Any kind of rice or risotto or couscous would go and most veggies.
You can just bake them in the oven & top them with lemon-pepper or even cajun seasoning mix.

  • we usually have it with rice and veggies (either asparagus or california blend frozen veggies)
I either bread it and cook it on the stove or cook in the oven- usually with lemon pepper for seasoning

  • Talapia is a bland fish. I have been eating alot of it on my new "healthy eating" program. One of my favorites is to fry it in a couple of T. Virgin Olive oil and garlic pepper season it. ( which is healthy) I would google it and see what else they recommend.. :-) It is definitely a fish that need seasonings...

  • Easiest way I know to prepare it. Spray it with butter flavored cooking spray, sprinkle it with McCormick's Salmon Seasoning. Bake at 375degree for about 15 minutes.

  • Sautee some onions, garlic and peppers. Let it cool. Get some puff pastry and put each filet in puff pastry, top with the onion mixture and bake. You could put a sauce on top of the onion mixture before you seal up the puff pastry.
