  • They're usually just little finger sandwiches. If you go to an English Tea house, they'll have small sandwiches with cucumber and sour cream, or shrimp and cream cheese, various fillings. I'd think for a 6th grade class you could do lunchmeats and cheeses, or peanut butter and jelly. You can just cut the crusts off the bread and cut them into 4's either lengthwise or quartered, or you can use cute cookie cutters. They even have small loaves of sliced breads, or a baguette would work.

  • They are tiny sanwices cut in triangular shapes sometimes, one i tried was somethng like cream cheese annd cucumber slice. Spread the cream cheese top with cucumber and cover with the other bread with cream cheese...I thought it sounds yuck, but I liked it. One good site/show I was on tea sanwiches was "semi-homemade" by Sandra Lee on food network. I hope that helps.

  • They are small sandwiches that are associated with afternoon tea. If you use regular bread you can cut them into quarters. It can be cream cheese and cucumbers, tuna salad, sliced egg with mayo, smoked salmon and cream cheese and plain cheese sandwiches.

  • They are sandwiches that you cut the crust off of and then cut into 4 triangles. Really, you can use any lunch meat or cheese

  • I think all the above are good responds.. you could also try googling it? Try to find something that the kids would like to eat but are also "tea worthy".. Sounds like fun !
