Is there any kind of notification for friend requests anymore?

Just went to send someone a message and saw there was a pending req from them. I never saw any kind of notification or message pop up for it.

It's only there briefly. It looks like you have a PM but when you highlight the drop down you don't see anything. Only if you happen to glance all the way down to the bottom of the list can you see the little number.

It's frustrating because I also had several at one point that I just completely accidentally ignored.

Bwahaha! Just looked and I had 4. Two from last February, one from May, and one from November. I guess it's a good thing I'm not familiar with any of the people who sent them. Otherwise, I'd feel bad.

That's ridiculous - that corner is so sensitive to being moused over, I'm lucky if I catch how many new "whatevers" it's telling me about before it disappears. If I have new answers activity and new group activity at the same time, forget it, one or the other I have to try and guess where the "new" ones stop.

It shows on your envelope icon, but if you scroll over it accidentally, the notification disappears until you open your email and it will be highlighted as unread.
