Does this sound greedy to you?
My SIL is having 5 bridal showers, one is for work but she has invited me and every other family member to the other 4 showers and she expects us to all go to all of them and she expects us to bring a present to each one, I know this because she said "I have to register for a lot of stuff because I have about 20 people that i am inviting to all the showers and then there are people that I am only inviting to one". Personally, I think it's in poor taste to have that many showers but maybe several people insisted on throwing her a shower. Now, to be clear, I know the bride's maids are supposed to go to all the showers but I am not a brides maid and she is going this will all the women on DH's side of the family. I told her I am coming to the one her maid of honor his throwing but that's the only one I can make it to, she is upset at me, I think it's greedy to invite people to that many showers and expect a different gift at each one. What do you think?

Yeah, that's ridiculous. I know some women turn into Bridezillas, but this is something I've never heard of before. I've heard of two at the most. She has no right to be upset with you.Found an answer to your question?

I think that is ridiculous to have that many. But if you are and if you are inviting people to 4 showers you shouldn't expect them to bring a gift to each one.Found an answer to your question?

I think she is in for a rude awakening when the 20 people who are invited to all 5 showers only bring 1 gift. I know if I was invited to all 5 that's what I would do. Times are hard for some people and they won't be going and bringing many gifts.Found an answer to your question?

I can't believe that you are the only person out of 20 that is only going to one shower. I would only go to one. My dh works long hours, sometimes weekends and I would have to line up sitters for every shower. Uh, no. That is way too many showers.Found an answer to your question?

Inviting you to all them is fine, expecting you to SHOW at all of them is pushing it, and demandind different gifts at each...thats obserd!! I would be a total smart ass, show up at all of them and stay for about 10 minutes each, and I'd bring a gift to each! Sure would! One plate at the first, matching plate at the second, matching plate at the third, matching plate at the 4th...not she has the full set! YAY for her!Found an answer to your question?
