Night time potty training

My daughter has been daytime trained for 7 months now but we still have accidents at night. Are there any tricks to help with this part of the training?

  • Nope. You have to wait until their body develops enough. It can take years. Don't worry about it.

  • We did a few things that I'd like to think helped:

    1) No drinks 90 minutes before bed
    2) go potty last thing before bed
    3) go potty as soon as you get up

Both my kids would fight the bed time potty, but would finally go when I reminded them that it was to help stop the accidents at night.

  • She is very small, and has a teeny bladder. I would rubber pants over her panties at night
