2 Bumps

What do you think my dh meant when he said...You need to use your time wisely?

I am a SAHM and I do what needs to be done here at home. When my dh works days and the kids are in school I am alone and sometimes I do slack off and do things at the very last minute...lol
I just feel that I do a better job when I am quickly doing it...If that makes any sense...lol

Thanks!

  • Sounds like he doesn't want you to rush through housework & things.. maybe he thinks you aren't doing a good job by rushing.

  • You probably just work better under pressure. See, women can multi task & men cannot. He just probably sees you buzzing around a lot when he is home & just wants you to rest & hang out with him when he is home. Well, I hope that's the case LOL! Otherwise tell him to go blow it out his ass! Have a great day!

  • Since it's V-day, I'm giving your husband the benefit of doubt, and agreeing with the PP. So, quickly get things done earlier today so, you can hang out with him tonight.

  • If he's anything at all like my husband, and he probably is, he meant that you should have everything done now when he gets home, so that you can spend that time with him.

  • If I didnt homeschool I and hubby both agree I should run a buisness from hm like make bows or run an in home daycare cause that would b such a waist of time imo to just stay hm all day, theres only so much to do. I guess I would feel useless but thats just me.

  • I am exactly like you OP... LOL... I am a SAHGM (stay at home grandma) and dh is gone in the field 3-5 days a wk (work)
and grandson (11) in school all day and I am home enjoying peace and quiet ...lol... and I LOVE it..
Dh doesn't say a thing, house work is done when needed laundry is done 2x's wkly, I do most home repairs and
a outdoor garden.. I maintain the home period... but I also have A LOT of free time for myself ...
You need to ask your dh what he meant and then the two of you can fix it IF there is really anything to FIX...
