2 Bumps

Cooling down gumbo.

My kids want me yo cook gumbo on tomorrow which is not a problem, I usually only cook it on like holidays or when lots of people are coming over. It is hard to make a small pot with all the tidings that input in it. How can I cool it down before I store it in the fridge I don't want it to spoil. What do I do.

  • You can sit the lidded pot in a sink of cool water for 15 minutes or so. That should do it.
