  • I have the cheapie digital ones that go under the arm too but my kids squirm and fight it and never let me get a good temp, i'd rather have a super easy ear or temporal one, i think i'll go with the Braun one if I can find it at a good price here in town or order it online...

  • I had a cheap digital that I've had for years, but I miss placed it so I had to get a new one. I chose to get vicks comfort flex digital thermometer. It can be used under the tongue or under the arm. If it's under the tongue it will read it in like 11 seconds. If it's under the arm it will read it in about 15 seconds. I got it for just under $10 at my local walmart.

I had to use it this week when my husband was home and when it was done reading my husband said I don't think that's right it read it to fast. I had to tell him it's right the new one read very fast! You can get a cheaper one ones, by other companies, and I'm sure they will read faster then what you have, but I wanted the one that would read the fastest that was REASONABLY priced.
