Do you personalize your computer?

Like with fonts and colors and pictures and stuff?
I always have then someone told me that doing that uses a lot of your memory. Now i dont know if it is true or not, but that is what they said.
I would make a picture as my main screen , change the color and themes and stuff. I choose from what is saved in the computer. I dont download anything off line.
Any thoughts? Does it use a lot of memory

  • Choosing background pictures, and screensaver pictures shouldn't use much memory, and choosing a different font shouldn't make any difference. Really, on a modern machine, it shouldn't be taxing at all. You're not using a 386 running Windows 95 are you?

  • unless you're constantly downloading new pics for background images or new fonts than what is standard on any computer I certainly can't see it using a lot of memory. the whole point of having a PC (PERSONAL computer) is so that you can personalize it and make it your own! I don't change my fonts or themes or anything very often but i love changing the background picture :)

  • I change some things on mine. As the others have said, unless you're using an old computer, or downloading new things all day, it shouldn't use much space for a very long time.
