Do you think cards are a waste of money sometimes?

Yes, especially since I recently learned that most of them are made in China! Can't we make anything in American any more?

No, cards are so much of our cultural existence, that even when they are thrown out, they are still acknowledged. It's because of the money and effort to retrieve them from a store that our culture.recognizes.

I love getting and giving cards. They're not a waste of money to me at all.

i always buy the cheap 50 cent card at the dollar store most of the time they are jsut going to go in the trash or if it is for my hubbie from the kids we jsut make one

I've started making my own cards for special people. Generally, I don't give cards cause they do get thrown away. But if I make one for someone it's cause I know that the person I'm giving it to will know that it's special and not throw it away. Valentine's cards have already been thrown away. Those are pointless.
