  • I saw all those. It was actually very nice to read them. I have no IRL friends so your sentiments were very appreciated.

  • I do... he was taken off chemo recently, they know he will die soon. He has no memory of anything anymore. It's horrible and tragic.

  • Yes my mom in law suffered for several years and the last couple years were the most painful for her. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Saddest part is I had my daughter and was really hoping that she still had fight in her so she could be around, but it was her time to go home. I really miss her she is a wonderful mom, grandma, and is missed by many here.

  • A friends mother died of it about ten years ago. By stage four, there was no "her" left to communicate with. That was really tough on the family.

  • In the last couple of years, two people I knew died of brain cancer. They were very young and it's still upsetting to me. Then someone I grew up with died at 32 years old of liver cancer. My aunt is in hospice, dying of pancreatic cancer. I HATE cancer.

  • I knew 2 people who had stage 4 brain cancer and it wasn't good. Both died within months of being diagnosed. My friends mom (who was a second mom to me and a grandma to my son) died within WEEKS of her diagnoses.

    meeoma- sorry about your loss.
