can you still have pre eclampsia without having protein in your urine?

  • swelling in my face arms hands upper legs lower legs feet. to the point where they make indents an inch deep. ive been getting dizzy light headed and feel very sick lately.

  • protein in the urine is just one of the sign of pre-eclampsia the other signs r swelling,high bp,change in reflexes,pain under rids(right side).headache,and vision changing.swelling can also be caused by hypertension but it is also part of being to ur doctor

  • I had this with both of my boys and I remember not having any signs I just went in and they took my blood presure and it was high then came the dr. visits two times a week and the early delevories. I was scared and my dr. was suprised she told me in most pregency she knows which one will more than likely have pre-eclampsia and I was not one. I did have protein in my urine.
