DH and I don't do gifts, but we had a nice dinner as a family and afterward we rented movies. The kids got "Dolphin Tale" and we got "Rum Diary".

I got to hold my 5yr old down while he had his blood drawn. Good times.
DH is gone for training. This is our 3rd valentines day apart in a row, at this point it would be weird if he was here to actually celebrate together.

My husband gave me an early Valentine's gift last week: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It's a video game for the PS3.

The game is a lot of fun! I recommend it.

A card he bought a few days ago when he was home. He left it for me to find. He's 800 miles or so from home tonight. It's just another day really. He tells me he loves me numerous times a day.....IMO it's just another commercialized holiday.
