Need your opinions please! Painting

ok, so I do NOT like the way the paint has turned out, so I am playing with variations. In this pic you can see the wall to the right is what I was doing where I mixed the two colors together. Don't like it at all. On the wall to the front are 4 diff colors. The second color is straight from the can just painted on. The very top is straight from the can, with the color washing technique. The 3rd color is the original, with white added, the 4th is with the water color technique. So tell me, the 1st or 4th?

  • I think the extreme R side of your project wall is pretty good. it looks like you didn't spread the colors out enough on the L side. I absolutely love the technique and finished project. I suggest working on a smaller scale and get down the technique before tackling the wall. You can always repaint the wall- or part of the wall white and start again. Maybe get some unused drywall or drywall remnants and experiment. Otherwise I vote for straight ot of the can. The great thing is you can always paint over it and change it.
