Are you straight forward and blunt in real life or just on cafemom?
I have seen alot of questions and some moms are replying with nasty answers or simply bashing. They claim that the OP needs to know the truth weather she likes it or not. I'm not arguing with that fact, I believe that is true.
What my question is would you give the same advice/answer if that person asked you in real life? Or would you chicken out? Moms (including me) can say anything on cafemom because they know their identity is hidden (unlike MySpace, Facebook etc). But would be staying the same stuff or giving advices which according to OP are somewhat nasty or have a different answer for them if they asked you in real life?

Definately straight forward but usually when it comes to advice, I only give it when it's asked for. This site is kinda different than real life, you don't know the person asking, and therefore you can be more honest without fear of ruining a friendship or someone being upset with you for how you see something.Found an answer to your question?

I am straightforward, and I expect people to be straightforward with me in return. I don't like folks who beat around the bush; say what you mean to say. I don't want sugarcoating.Found an answer to your question?

The way I am on cafemom is the way I am period, I am not an overly blunt person, I always try to say things honestly but not in a way thats going to intentionally hurt someone and make the situation worse, I try to do the same on here, but I still prefer to tell it like it is and how I really feel and not just want someone wants to hear.Found an answer to your question?

I'm pretty much the same. I can be straightforward & blunt when I feel it's necessary. But, I can also sugar coat when needed.

I'm not nasty on here but I am way more blunt than I would be in real life because nobody knows me on here and I don't care what anyone I don't know thinks. In real life I definitely think it, I'm just more inclined to keep my mouth shut, smile, and nod.Found an answer to your question?

I have learned in life being honest with someone is always the best. I know I would rather someone tell me the truth about how they think or feel about a situation than lie to me. I will tell people what I think, but it doesnt mean you have to be rude when you do it.Found an answer to your question?
