  • My Ds had some stinky breath too, until the dentist gave us some much needed advice. Until they are old enough to write in cursive handwriting you are supposed to be brushing their teeth for them. I made Ds do it and then go back over them. Make sure that you brush their gums and tongue as well as their teeth. You wouldn't believe the difference it made! OH and we got little kid mouth wash as well and that helped a lot too!

  • I had continuous breathing and ear problems as a child because of my over-sized adnoids and a lot of sinus blockage. I eventually had my adenoids removed and that helped considerably. Sometimes it's a case of enlarged tonsils too. These things can block air from moving freely in the passageways. Snoring is usually associated with significant sleep disruption. Children that are overweight tend to snore more as well.
