  • An intent is stating your intentions to homeschool your child. I believe you mail it to the school board before the school year. If you are planning on homeschooling for next fall, you would probably want to mail it in in the spring time. Im sure you have up until a month or so before public school starts, but I like to get those things done in advance, should any problems arise.

  • It's 'AN' intent, not "a intent".

It's best to check with your local school district just to be sure all your bases are covered.

  • Not concerned about the proper use of "a" or "an" and want to homeschool?

    That's concerning.

  • ANON - it's not the proper way of "spelling" A or AN - it's the proper use of the word.

A rudimentary knowledge of grammatical principles would, in my opinion, be crucial to a homeschool curriculum.

Not to mention, a modicum of civilized behavior always seems to clear the way for help and advice.
