Do you think lil girls in bikinis are cute or trashy?

As a mother of 4 girls. I think they are cute and ok! My girls are 5, 4,2 and 1. I wear a bikini, why not them?

I think that people who worry about this kind of thing need to stop watching soap operas and live in the real world. Let your children be just children. The word "trashy" should never be applied to little girls.

I grew up at the beach, surfing, in bikinis. We still live at the beach, im still a beach bunny, and my DD is a beach baby, so sometimes its Bikinis, sometimes its one piece. I have no problem with either for her.

Depends on the little girl. But I've never once seen an outfit I felt was "trashy" it's the attitude of the person in it which makes them trash or not, not what they are wearing or not wearing!

My daughter used to wear a 2 piece because she needed quick access if she had to go to the bathroom. She liked the bottoms that were like shorts. I don't like itsy bitsy bikini's on young girls.

3 and up,bordering on trashy. The clothing companies have the bottoms in the same cut as adult suits. No pre-pubescent girl should be in a triangle top bikini

Really it depends on the bikini. String bikinis look trashy on anyone in my opinion. But the ones with the fuller-coverage tops look cute on little girls. As long as the bikini is designed for a child and not just a miniature version of an adult suit, I'm fine with it.

I bought my daughters the ones with the shorts bottome ans more coverful tops. The only reason i got two pieces (hubby was totally against it) was because they arent potty trained and so i could change there little swimmer diaper easily.
Nothing is harder that trying to get a wet bathing suit off and on a squirming toddler. So it makes it a little easier to just take the bottoms off.LOL
Otheer than that it would be one pieces.
