How old was your child the first time you let sleep over at a friends. I know that time is going creep up on me soon so I'm wanting to get some suggestions.
Answer QuestionMy Son hasn't had a sleep over at a friends yet, he's only 5. But I have to say that in order for me to allow it in the future, I would have to know the family VERY VERY well & for a while. It is different today from when I grew up in the 70's. I always slept at different friends homes starting around 9 years old. It was a small town & everyone knew everything about everyone else & my Dad had a business where most of my friends parents were customers. Everyone was family. Today we live in a larger suburban area where no one knows anyone closely.
