when do the cravings stop????

i recently quit smoking friday well i am craving so bad i ended up hitting a cig acouple times not finishing it i am wondering when the cravings stop today is my 3rd day and i dont want to hit a cig at all today i am trying gum not really helping im cleaning the house today to try to help but does anyone know????? please help

  • You will never completely stop craving cigarettes. For the rest of your life.


    The cravings get easier to deal with. Eventually it will be a quick nano-second of a craving, and you will talk yourself out of buying that pack. Or taking that drag. As OP said . . .day by day. Minute by minute if you have to! One breath at a time is an acceptable plan. Good luck mama. I hope to join you as a quitter soon!

  • i've never smoked but i've heard you have to take it day by day, and each day wake up and say i'm not going to smoke today. i hope you find the strength to do that! Good luck
