WYR walk or drive....

To a park that's about half a mile from your house, with your small child?

BUT to get there you have to cross a very busy street where most people drive like they're auditioning for stunt driving on a Fast & the Furious movie.

  • Drive. I have seen too many walkers get killed by careless drivers. I wouldn't risk my children. Once at the park you can walk around the park to make up for driving there. We also have many streets with no sidewalks which makes it even more dangerous.

  • Walk. When my kids were little we use to walk to the park. To this day they remember it and say that's one of the fondest memories they have.
