Have you ever had a laughing fit that couldn't be stopped?

I can't think of anything off hand... but we call it 'the galloping giggles' around here.

Yes, it was a laughing fit over another member's description of a horrible day that she had and described it in perfect detail. It's like I could see it happening as she was writing it.

Yes. My friend and I were on a beach trip and were sharing a bed. What started out as a very serious conversation gradually turned into something about work out videos. It's been years, so I can't remember what exactly was so funny, but we both laughed until we cried. When we'd have it almost under control, we'd feel the bed shaking from the other one laughing, and it would start all over again. I finally had to get up and go into the bathroom just so I couldn't see/feel her laughing. On my way back to the bed, I stubbed my toe and did the most graceful flop to the floor you've ever seen. From there, I laughed until I was about to pass out. I was really freaking out, because I wasn't breathing and was starting to black out, but STILL I couldn't stop laughing. It wasn't until I could no longer support myself (my legs were giving out - NO AIR) that I panicked enough to lose to urge to laugh. It was crazy.

oh, yes. When I get to laughing hard I can't breathe. As a child I passed out a few times. I've gotten close in my adult years, but haven't quite gone over the edge.

every time my two sisters and i get together
which is not often as we all live apart
but EVERY time we are together
younger sister turns red and tears fall from her eyes, i laugh until i snort, and older sister goes into the laugh so much can not breath

The last one I had was when my SO and I were goofing around. I playfully slapped him on his butt, and he farted. We've only been together for a few months, and he has not yet started doing that in front of me, this was the first time...he was absolutely humiliated, but I couldn't stop laughing, and he eventually joined in. Soon we were both out of control with it, tears squeezing out and gasping for breath. It was hilarious.

My son said something the other day that got me laughing which somehow set him off and then neither of us could stop. I started snorting which made him laugh even harder. I think I literally peed myself laughing that time. (Gotta love the bladder control after having kids.)

I used to have fits like this when I was in high school. The other kids would get me to laughing so hard that I would get into trouble and have to go sit out in the hall to calm down.

The last time I did this was about a month ago. My daughter and I were looking at funny pictures on a page on Facebook called "Laughter is good for the soul". We got to laughing so hard I started crying. I was laughing and actually crying so hard I could barely open my eyes. I hurt so much the next day. LOL!
