I puree my own baby food....so my daughter gets a lot of variety. Sweet potato, green beans, broccoli, eggplant, zucchini, squash, parsnips, apple, banana, pear, plum, nectarine, berries, cantelope, peach, avocado, etc. Then I mix different things together for each meal. Example: Avocado and Banana. Yogurt and Cereals are good too. Your baby might be ready to start eating some very soft finger foods. Try banana or avocado cut up into very small chunks (pea size) and see how he/she does. Also...Baby Mum Mums are a great finger food and they can start eating those as soon as they start solids. They melt in your baby's mouth so they don't present a choking hazard. Hope that helps.
