Anyone a lawyer or do you know one?

My husband has been working for a franchise now for about 3 months now... the owner owns multiple franchises and has the money to cover all his employees. Well last month my husband had a 3 week period were he didn't get paid (he gets paid weekly) and well after those 3 weeks finally he got a lump payment of what he was owed. They say that its there card company's issue they wont pay in checks only threw this credit card company they use. Well it bugged us then but were like maybe its just a one time thing right? Well last week low and behold no payment again after 2 weeks of good on time payments... His other franchises employees are getting paid but all this franchises employees are not. Is there a law agenst this? Can he fight? Hes to the point were he wants to quit we have weekly bills to pay and cant have this keep happening.... I don't want him quitting in this economy but I understand his frustration... Someone please help...

  • if you live in northeast ohio - try milsner and noble (in cleveland heights) yes that is completely illegal - but i dont know the exact wording of the law - you could google and see if anythign pops up - try = what can i do if my boss hasnt paid me... etc... all good lawyers are free until your case is settled so you should really call and get a consult. if you win they would have to pay all the late fees on your bills and other out of pocket you incured by the late payments. take awhile to see the money though.
