3 Bumps

Morning surprise (and not the good kind) - Not a question but you can make it one if you want!

I woke up this morning, got my coffee and sat down to read the paper. After about 20 minutes, I got up to check the thermometer because, wow, it sure was warm! Spring must be early this year!

Then, I started getting a little uncomfortable because of the temp. I looked at the thermostat and it was set to 82. 82!!!

I told granddaughter "mom must have gotten really cold because the heater got turned way up" and she said "Oh. That was me. I was cold after supper so I turned it up so I could get warm".

I just asked her to please ask me from now on before she does that. Wonder how much my bill is going to be?

  • Just one overnight with the temps up shouldn't increase your bill but a couple of dollars.
    Menopause is not something we want to do more than once.

  • Oh no! My daughter did this a while back, but my thermostat has to be held to set so, when she turned the heat up it didn't hold and it actually dropped down to 60 degrees. I couldn't figure out why it was so cold in the house lol

  • @annanonnymommy - Yikes. I HATE that. And up here it's $3.50 a gallon which is more than gasoline.

    @meooma - Amen sister
