So, I know- I should stop putting on the 700 club but today I got a wild hair and it's on. There was a question sent in that asks:
"If all the people who don't know Jesus as savior are going to Hell after they die, and those who do are going to Heaven, what's the point of the Judgement Seat? -JOSPH"
Pat Robertson's answer?
"He talks about how it's important because "we're talking about FOREVER...the lake of fire...the throne of judgement will be for acts people have done in the flesh...they are in a waiting situation...this is final. Everybody will stand before God to account for what he's done EXCEPT those who have come to Jesus...we're passed from death into light because of Jesus Christ and won't have to give an acoount at the throne of judgement for what we've done THANK GOD...but we (Christians) WILL have to stand before the judgement seat of Christ, there will be rewards for service to him."
Thoughts? Are there two different thrones? are Christians going to have to give an acoount of their actions in this life? what kind of rewards are there?

I was always taught that we will ALL stand before God and be judged for good and bad etc. The only difference as believers will have Christ with them on their side, kind of like a lawyer standing up for you and non-believers would be more like the pro se guy that goes into court alone.
Thoughts? My first thought is that Pat Robertson is too crazy for me to seriously entertain any idea of his.
My second thought is that people believe a variety of things. As for me, I don't believe there is any lake of fire or pearly gates awaiting any of us. I am not at all concerned with the ideas of heaven or hell, or eternity. My only concern is for the life I have and for the lives I helped create, and the impact we have on this earth. I am not at all worried about some mythical "judgement".
Yeah, but your a "witch" now, so how much faith should we have in what you "were taught"? [mustbegraceless]
So changing my beliefs negates previous experiences and lessons? Really?
