  • My all time favorite book is a book called Christy, by Catherine Marshall. It's the story of a young woman I think at the turn of the 20th century (not positive it's been awhile since I've read it). She leaves home to teach school in the smoky mountains, not knowing what she'll have to deal with there. It's a true story, and an amazing book.

I've read many outstanding books since that one, but it stays my favorite.

I really loved The Help last year, and I love Megan Hart (hers can be really steamy), Phillipa Gregory, Courtney Milan & Maya Banks to name a few authors.

  • The Mists of Avalon... I LOVE King Arthur stories and I really enjoyed all the Pagan/Fey aspects... it's what made me see how Pagans of old may have reconciled converting or co-existing with-in Christianity.

  • The Street Lawyer by John Grisham. I don't know exactly, I guess I just like the concept of it. I wish more people would change their thinking about society like the main character in the book did.

  • After the Bible, my all-time favorite book is REDEEMING LOVE by Francine Rivers. It is a novel with the most riveting storyline I have ever read. I literally could not put it down and as soon as I finished reading it the first time, turned right back to the beginning and read it again. Still couldn't put it down the second time and I knew what was going to happen!

  • I think my all time favorite book is The Stand, by Stephen King. There are many, many more that are close but that's never been bumped from my all time fav list.

  • Captain Corelli's Mandolin, but Louis de Bernieres. Why? Hard to say! He is an amazing writer, the story is heartbreaking, you will laugh and cry and feel warm and cozy and happy and outraged and ALIVE, all at the same time or very close to it.

  • The Bible is my favorite, then, Dante's Divine Comedy. He just used such imagery to tell the journey he took through the Inferno, Purgatory, and Paradise.
