Please read....my brother's girlfriend has HIV what are the chances of my brother having it? He was tested couple days ago and don't have it, but has tp be retested in 3 months.

My brother in 23 years old and his girlsfriend is 16 will be 17 in July. He has been with her since she was 13 years old so which made him 20 I think. Well they broke up for a little bit there because her dad found out old my brother was. She was 15 and they were telling her parents that he was 17. Her cousin told her parents ho old my brother was so they went to the police and the police told my brother to stay away from her until she is 18. They just warned him since it was concenteral. But then her mom let her and my brother date so they got back together after a couple months. Well she will be 17 in July and they broke up last month. Her and her mom came to my moms house threatening my mom and brother and said that my brother gave her HIV. She said her dd was HIV possitive. My mom asked her mom how she knows my moms son gve it to her? She said how do you know she wasn't with other guys? She walked away. I am not sure if maybe they are just trying to get back at my brother for something or what so not sure if she really does have it, but she said she has been going to the dr ever since she got in this car accident with my brother which was about 6 months or so ago and supossibly they took her blood and found out she had it, but my grandma said they don't just check for that, that their had to be a reason they checked for that. Well anyway, my brother went to get tested cause my brother believed he gave it to her because they been together 3 years. He has only been with one other girl. So he called this other girl to ask if there was a possiblility she had it, but she said no. He went and got tested and he was nagative :) :) :) but they said it can take up to 3 months to show up so he has to go back in 3 months to be retested since he was with her almost a month ago. He went to her house to tell them that she didn't get it from him, but I guess her mom shut the door in his face. This girl ended up telling my brother she was with other guys. My brother said that he use a condom every single time they had sex, but he said sometimes they done other things to keep her from getting pregnant so my guess is oral ? So what are my brothers chances of going back in 3 months toget retested and having it??? I pray to god he doesn't have it though.

Pretty high actually. If he had a cut in/on his mouth,he can get it from doing oral on her.

I am seriously not a troll. If you can't nswer the question don't reply. I am scared for my brother. And for a 16 year old to have something like that I feel bad for her. That has to tell you something about that girl being 16 and having that. She cheated on my brother and got it so now I am scared for my brother. And the officer did give him a warrning, but her mom ended up telling my brother that she didn't care they dated so they continued to date.

can he only get it from oral if he had a cut on the mouth? Or can he get it from oral no matter what?

That has to tell you something about that girl being 16 and having that.

It told me something about her when you said she was 13 screwing a 20 year old.

They dont run an HIV test unless the doctor orders one. If the girl or her mom are alledging that this HIV test came back after she went to the hospital for a car accident than they are just screwing with your family. Check the local Health Dept, all HIV positive cases have to be reported to them by law. As for the chances, we dont know how often and the details of their sex lives (and we dont want that info!!) so no one can tell you the odds of your brother getting it. Good luck!

any bodily secretions that have entered his body can indeed infect her. Does he have a cavity, gums bleed when he brushes etc... HIs chances are pretty high. I feel bad for them both, But thats what happens when you have sex without being tested and just trusting someone. Im actually really sickened that he was 20 and screwing a 13 yr old.

If this is real, your brother will need to get tested every six months, until he has gone six months without seeing this child. All sexual activity, including oral sex, must include latex.
