  • Here is a bump, to be honest I don't remember. I would ask your daughter I "think" she is too young still.

  • None of mine had water until they were 6-7 months and that was to practice using a sippy cup with a couple of ounces.

  • I have 3 kids almost 7, 4 and 6.5 months and I didn't give them water until maybe like after 1. They get all of that through formula anyway. I started with my first 2 juice at around 4-6 months, with my 3rd I started juice at like 1-2 months, but that was with the drs ok because she gets constipated a lot. I was only to give her 2-4oz a day though and only when i noticed she was constipated. By the next day she was going to the bathroom. Now at 6.5 months old I give her juice at lunch time with a jar of baby food. She is on formula and gets water through that so I never did water until they were off the formula

  • Ummm why would you give a month old baby water? they need breastmilk or formula, that is it. I never gave my kids water, till way after age 1. ANd babies./toddlers dont need juice either, fills them up with little value.

  • An infant needs NOTHING except breastmilk or formula for the first 6-8 months and there after you can start introducing solid food mixed with breastmilk or formula. Around 1 year you can give some water and/or juice. This is what my doc recommends.

  • You've got a long long long time to worry about water. Breastmilk or formula is all baby needs. You're fine.

  • At least not until you introduce solids. I always say nothing other then breast milk or formula until at least 6 mos of age.
