S/O of hiv question.. What would you do if you found out your 13 yr old was sleeping with a 20 year old?

Would you be the cool mom and say oh its ok?
Would you be ready to chop the 20 yr olds head off?
Press charges?
Man, I would be ready to kill and id be mad at myself for not knowing what my kid was doing and allowing her to be in that position in the first place.

I'm more involved in my kids lives than that. Our school calls if they miss one or more classes, and they know if I ever get that call I will be going with them to school and sitting next to them for the next 3 weeks so I know they are where they say they will be. When they go to afterschool activities, I talk to the coaches, the leaders, the staff in charge - I KNOW where my kids, as my parents did for me. Yes, it made me a little upset at times, but I am SO glad they did it!

I KNOW where my kids, as my parents did for me. Yes, it made me a little upset at times, but I am SO glad they did it!

So you stand by them at all times, and they aren't allowed to talk to any male over 18 if you aren't there? Interesting.

The boy would have the cops at his door, hopefully before my DF does.
Id press charges to the fullest extent, and my DD would be on lockdown until she went to college.
There is no reason for a 20 year old to be with a 13 year old, no reason. But Ill make sure he is branded as a sex offender for life.

I couldn't even reply to that question due to everything that was said. What 20 year old is seriously attracted to a child? 13 years old is a child!! I in no way would let it continue and you better believe I would be pressing charges!

A 20 yo who is having sex with a 13 yo is a pedophile in my book. Letting him use her would not be being a "cool mom" it would be being a "stupid mom who is aiding and abetting a criminal".
