Have we created a sexist concept??
Why is it, people balk at men doing day care? Why do we always think a woman will be best? Or better said, why is it more expected for a woman to do it. I see a few men on Care.com and others have said they would never let a man watch their kids. The thought is a tad odd to me, being totally honest. But in reality wouldn't it be considered discrimination based on sex if you passed on them just because they were male?

But there are thousands of abuse cases, and sexual abuse by the day care providers spouse, and so on, by female providers. Isn't it still considered discrimination?? You wouldn't let just any woman watch your kids, why just any guy?
