Any suggestions to get glue from stickers off of a backpack?

I am trying to remove the glue left behind, from stickers my son put on a backpack. The front of the backpack is the heavy plastic type of material. Does anyone know what will take this off? I've tried nail polish remover and using my hair dryer to heat the glue. Neither of them worked. Any suggestions would be great!

  • i had these individual pads when corina used to have the heart monitor on but i've used them on sticky stuff on my walls and they helped. i don't know where to get them, maybe a medical supply place or look online. it says tyco / Healthcare by KENDALL (preppies) adhesive remover prep. i think i'm gonna check online to see where i can get more. good luck. ~blue

  • Windex and scratching with nails (i teach and have to scrape the goo off every year/stickers on the desks) if that doesn't work try an oil base like vegetable oil, Pam spray etc... not fun! :)
